We are looking for a full-time Business and sales Coordinator to join our Edmonton, office.

Our ideal candidate is a team player, passionate about achieving goals. This position is

predominantly facing our sales team co-ordination and business development. You will also

work closely with our agronomy Staff, Project Teams, and Marketing personnel. The role is

comprised of 60% sales coordination and Business Development work and 40% administrative

tasks. This is an ideal role if you enjoy working as part of a team, have excellent communication

and organizational skills, and want to further develop your sales, interpersonal or business

skillset.  


Key Responsibilities: 

 Coordinating sales activates with our sales Agronomists and contact existing and

potential corporate clients and business leads regularly and structurally. No cold calls.

 Identify client needs and suggest appropriate products/services in an organized manner

through our Agronomy Team members.

 Create and maintain strong relationships and commercial agreements with distributors

and ag retailers.

 Build long-term trusting relationships with clients and active participation in Trade

events.

 Set up meetings or calls between prospective leads and the company when a business

initiates.

 Report weekly/monthly/quarterly sales results & data.

 Stay up to date with new products/services and new pricing/payment plans.

 Maintain various databases to ensure information is accurate and current.


Requirements: 

 2-4 years of direct coordination experience in Sales and Business Development with

Knowledge of Fertilizer Products and Market

 Minimum bachelor’s degree in business administration, Marketing or Communications

 Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)

 Some academic background in Agronomy and/or Business in some capacity with Proven

track record of achieving sales targets and market share growth.

 Experience with negotiating sales terms and agreements.

 Strong leadership, coaching and mentoring skills for team management.

 Excellent stakeholder management skills with the ability to develop positive

relationships with external parties.

 Highly developed communication and interpersonal skills for efficient internal and

external communications

 Organized, detail oriented and timely in the completion of administrative protocols,

sales reports and data collection.

 An entrepreneurial mindset with a passion for the agriculture industry and emerging

innovative solutions to agronomic issues

 Ability to maintain databases, filing systems and working knowledge of CRM platforms.

 Excellent team player; can work collaboratively with others.

 An assertive, cooperative, and effective communicator. This role will be client-facing.

 Professional appearance and friendly disposition.

 Excellent interpersonal skills and communication skills, written & verbal.

 Must be able to travel to various farms/towns to meet with customers.

 Must hold a valid class 5 driving license.

Sales Agronomist/Crop Advisor - Grand Praire

We currently have opportunities for Sales Agronomist position for our Grand Prairie location. Sales Agronomists contribute to the overall success of our customers and our business - you are the one who our customers rely on for agronomic support and advice.
Responsibilities:
 Visit producers on their farms and identify their agricultural needs specific to agronomy and crop production, contributing to increased sales volumes and
overall territory market expansion.
 Provide agronomic advice, services and recommendation of crop input products/fertilizers.
 Present ATG product and services to groups and individual growers.
 Schedule appointments, individual grower meetings, trade shows and group meetings.
 Develop opportunities to present ASLE research and on farm data with customers.
 Actively search for new opportunities that will enhance or expand ATG’s market presence and sales in the territory.
 Perform other duties as required.

Qualifications:
 A degree in Agriculture and previous experience in crop inputs
 Minimum of 3 years of applied agronomy/crop input/soil sampling/crop advisory experience.
 Demonstrated knowledge of modern farm practices and industry regulations.
 Proven ability to work independently, showing effective time management, planning, and multi-tasking skills.
 Strong communication and organizational skills
 The Certified Crop Advisor designation would be considered an asset.
 Excellent interpersonal and team-building skills with a positive attitude. 

 Must possess a valid class 5 driver’s license with a clean driving record.
